I'm sure I've seen a thread with a parts list for installing an aftermarket headunit using some biketronics harness but I can't find it now. Can anyone help out?
Skeeter, Go to the Biketronics website they have info about the kits for installing an after market radio, mounting brackets, and wiring harness that enables you to use your handle bar controls. If you can call them and talk to Bill the tech he can help you with any questions you have. Ultranutz has some posts on this subject also. hope this helps. Rock on!
Thanks alot for the replies. I will be talking to Biketronics and Ultra Nutz to get some more info. Prolly ask ultra Nutz if this is a 6 pack,12 pack or a full case install.

I guess that all depends on how accurately you want your install to turn out. :-) I know if me, I will knock out the install with sugar free redbull then sit back in the "cave" and polish off a case of brew admiring what I just did to the tunes of Hendrix or Zeppelin.
But seriously it's an easy install. On a scale of 1 - 10 of difficulty, it's easily a 3. Not difficult at all if you just take your time and pay attention to what you're doing. Very little wiring to do. Run a wire from the fairing to the battery for power to the amp with a fuse at the battery, run your ground wire, connect your speakers to the output of the amp. the rest of it simply bolts in place and plugs into each other.
