I thought I read all I needed to and asked some questions on a few threads here. I bought the SS nano pn4.520d the dragonfly speaker adapters and a pair of Polk mm651's. I was going to buy the DB651's but I must have misunderstood a few guys and bought the more expensive polks after their recommendations. Now I find out that the impedance of the mm's won't allow me to bridge the amp. I'm open for ideas. I suppose I'll end up selling the mm's and buying the dbs but damn, I haven't even received the stuff yet. Solutions anybody?
I put this system on my buddies street glide just ran speakers off of front side of amp. That way later on he can either put speakers in a set of hard lowers are saddle bag lid speakers. It sounds great just running them of the front side of the amp.
Return the MM651s and Adapters or sell them here on the forum. You should be able to get most of your money back, if everything remains "New In the Box".
Go with the Biketronics Titan II 6.5". They are 4 ohm, sound fantastic and come with there own adapters which fit much better than the Dragon Fly units (I know from experience)
You'd probably blow-out the DB651s using the Soundstream.
Springer. If you decide to sell your MM651 polk speakers I would be interested as I need 2 pair for my install. Just a thought for you. Let me know what you decide.

Springer, the DB651 are 4 ohm and 4 ohm is what is needed to bridge the amp. The MM651 are 2 ohm and are to be used in a 4 speaker/channel setup (front and rear or front and lowers).
After some issues I'm starting to see with the DB651 not being able to handle the power of the SS amp even with gains set a little lower on the amp, I highly recommend you take a look at the Hertz, Titan II, or Focal speakers that are 4 ohm. IMO the preference would go to the Titan II mainly because they're made by HAT for Biketronics and BT provides a lifetime warranty on them.
Would it hurt to run just two channels to the two mm651's that should be here tomorrow? Also if I added a pair of mm 651's to the lowers and made it so I could quick disconnect from the other two channels by unplugging the speakers would that be a problem? I typically use the lowers for a month in the spring and a month in the fall and maybe that might be the best way to proceed. I never use the gloveboxes and what the hell.
