So, I had the dealership install the SoundStream PN4.520D amp, Polk DB651 speakers and Hog Tunes tweeters. I didn't feel comfortable doing the install myself. At first, I was excited with the sound but once I got on the highway, I didn't notice anything impressive.
Guess what, although the dealer did the install and included a bracket--they never set the gains in the amp. So anyway, I read UltraNutZ posting on setting the amp. On the last page, he gives a simple way of setting the gains. My god, those DB651's really kick out some power.
Here are my problems:
1 - Certain FM stations are now very staticy;
2 - CD's are amazingly powerful but playing music on my phone (Samsung G3) is not as powerful as a CD.
