Hey shoot Carl (harleypingman) an PM. he is the master on these HD add-ons. I think he figured out a way to not have to buy the $100 70169-06A (that part number changed to A revision)
I'm using my iPhone, so typing is a pita for any lengthy explanations/directions. The 70169-06 harness is huge and you can buy the harness HD sells for the iPod and NIM modules for $20, re-pin it for the necessary XM connections, and have a lot less harness to deal with inside the fairing.
If you want more info, send me a pm with your phone number.
As for the original post, you have listed the correct parts---my suggestion is to save you a few $$$.
