biketronics 1-800-735-2419 makes a adapter instead of buying a $300-$400 interconnect harness. I called them and they are custom making one for me for $45.00 that will work with my stock FLHTP harness.....comes with the 23 prong plug that you have to splice in and comes with the wires already color coded. they do not advertise it on their site, you have to call and ask for it. It saved me allot of $$$ and time to search for the 70232-08 needed for my bike

Also, that BT harness is a great value. I made my own about 6 years ago and connected it to civilian handlebar controls I installed on my FLHTPI. Took several hours of researching wiring diagrams and parts books. I did it to install a BT radio kit.
I later added HD cruise control, oil pressure and temp gauges. All of that required a lot of research time. Happily, everything worked perfectly.
However, I never really liked all the spliced wiring inside the fairing, so when I disassembled the bike for paint a few years ago, I found a used interconnect harness on EBay, bought it installed replacing all of the add on wiring I had added.
In hindsight, had I known I would be adding all of the civilian items I would have simply purchased the interconnect harness.
