Installing radio from a different bike

For 1, the AVC is controlled in the 98 - 05 bikes by an analog signal vs a digital signal in the 06 and up bikes. Iron Cross Audio should be able to make this conversion for you. Call Tony @ Iron Cross Audio and make sure before you buy something that it's going to work for you. He's the H/K master...
the 04-05 bikes use a digital signal, just a bit different than the 06 and newer.
The 04-05 avc can be recoded at the radio by the user after the radio is installed. No reflash needed.

That is good to know sir.. thank you for sharing that.. I was under the impression that all prior to 06 were analog.. See.. learn something new everyday... Are there instructions out there on how to do this from the end user's perspective on the head unit?

Does anyone have a wiring diagram or "pin out" chart that helps me see how to install a 2011 HK with CB into my 2003 Ultra... I want to retain the intercom and CB functions... I know to buy the 35 pin connector (check got it), but how do I connect the CB module. I have the radio installed and confirmed the fade works and the intercom PTT works..... Thanks in advance, Lance
