Default Amp ground?

Hey guys I'm running my wires for my amp and in ultras step x step instructions he says to mount e ground wire to the triple tree threaded hole just under the radio! If I'm looking at the same hole correctly it already has two little wires in it correct? And if so I will have to take my head unit back out to get to this hole? Any help will be greatly appreciated thanks guys

Just so happen to have a couple shots of it for my install!

This is the one i'm using on the other side. chased the threads and sanded off the paint to get a good contact/ground:

In this one you can see it under the HU w/o removal should be easily reachable:

Or with aftermarket:

Wow, i figured it would be there, but obviously a change from my 06 EGC to your '12 SG.

Is there one on the right side w/ wires already attached? i have another similar on the other side with wires, but using this one easily available.

GL!

Ok for the ss amp are you guys using the hi input wires and not the blocks? The wires that I got with amp are not the same colors as described in ultras instructions. Just don't wanna mess something up

On newer bikes the threaded hole is on TOP of the triple tree just under head unit, I think there's one on each side. It's kind if a pain in the azz to get to with the HU in place and it's pretty small so you'll have to feel around with your finger to find it. I used a 1/2" long self-tapper with a washer, can't remember the diameter.

That spot will work as well. The empty hole is the same size and just to the left of the spot you used. They're both tough to get to with big fingers lol. Good luck!
