Default Wire nuts?

Are wire nuts good for the connections inside the fairing?
I've used them for pretty much everything else in my limited wiring career without issues, my guess is they would be o.k..
Just wondering if audio wiring would be different.

Never wire nut anything on a motorcycle or car if you want reliability. Solder, one tight layer of protective plastic tape, shrinkwrap and then a tad of rtv fingered in the openings. Do it that way and I guaranteed it to wake up the junk yard dog in 50 years.

No wire nuts or scotch locks.

I use butt connectors............if done correctly and then shrink wrapped you will never have an issue. I would not use wire connectors. It will work itself loose especially on these bikes.....
