Default wire pulling tool, whats the best way

Chinese handcuffs? What tool do you use to pull the wires through bars for internal wiring?

I used weed eater string, it has enough thickness to hold to your tape on the wires, it worked almost too good, because it was my first time, and I said why does everyone say running the wires in the bars so hard.

Cut yourself a piece of electrical wire, 12 guage copper works fine, several feet long. Overlap one end of it several inches with the wiring harness that you're trying to pull through, then over wrap the end of it in electrical tape, very tight. So, now your wiring harness looks like several feet of copper wire is coming out the end of it. Then, run the copper wire through the handlebar hole and continue stuffing it in until it comes out the other end. Then pull .... gently ... and tug ... and feed the wiring harness at the entrance hole and just continue to pull the copper wire through and feed the wiring harness in at the other end until it comes shows up at the exit hole. Then cut the electrical tape off and remove the copper wire.

Hope that makes sense.

heat shrink tubing...

push it through the passage

insert your wires into the end an inch or 2. apply heat- the tubing shrinks around your wire

and you pull it back through

+1 on the weed eater line. Stiff enough to run through the bars, and strong enough to pull your wires.

I used the guts from parachute cord. Dental floss works well too. Tie it loosely around a cotton ball and then insert the cotton ball into the end of the handle bar. Blow into the handle bar like a blow gun and the cotton ball will travel down to the hole at the center with the string tied around it. It works so well it's stupid.

wire clothes hanger cut and straightened out. Once through bentthe end back and make a loop, bent your wires through and tape them back. Use WD-40 as a lubricant and push-pull

I used line used to mark off areas for digging. It's what I already had available. High test fishing line could work too if you have it already
