Hey guys, just came across a website called sidecarcycles.com and then it will send you to v-twinaudio.com and they sell a lids package for 399.99 that is actually your lid that you send them and they cut out the provisions for speakers and then mount up everything and you don't have to get them reprinted. Has anyone seen anything good or bad about these? This just seems Ike the cheapest way to do lids that I can find seeing as no paint is involved so 400.00 for the lids and then whatever speaker you choose and done lol. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.
oh yeah.. I remember talking to these guys from sidecar cycles on another forum a while back. Got into a heated debate with whomever that was about 6x9s being a waste of time and money to put into saddlebags.
IMO anything smaller than 6x9s in a saddlebag, regardless of whether it's facing inward, upward, angled towards the rider, on in the front of the bag.. is a total waste of time and effort. Man this sound gets washed out so bad when you start moving so the larger the speaker you have in there with some decent power pusing them, the better off you're going to be.
Ok thanks guys. Yeah I was looking at the hog tunes lids just came across these and thought if it would work it would be nice cause its hard to fine a painter that can match the black denim. The sidecar lids don't need paint. Oh well guess I will have to save some dough and get the hog tunes lids someday lol
