@ roadrash - I'm glad you found it helpful brother. I agree with you, everyone wants a good chunk of change for a mount... even after market stuff that I found. I really didn't want to monkey around with running wires and more stuff attached to my bars, etc... It's been working great so far and that little shuffle had no problems working in the rain... rode about an hour last weekend in it. Let me know if you have any questions and how it works out.

Awesome thank you for this posting. I have been all crazy about this whole ipod thing. I think it is crazy that harley wants $400 for the ipod to work with the radio, then another 150 to put it in the saddlebag with a charger. I have a ipod touch, having changing songs is way unsafe while riding. The ipod shuffle is enough battery for all day riding, plus the way you have it mounted i can change songs on the fly. I ordered these parts today and have a shuffle on the way. $65 total for everything. Awesome
