Default lower fairing speakers
I recently upgraded my front and rear speakers to JBL 6.5" 3-way. I decided this weekend to move the rear speakers to my lower fairings. I made a speaker mounts, covered them in speaker carpeting, mounted the speaker, and wired them up. I noticed the sound is louder and crisper with the 4 speakers up front than two. It was loud before but I can really notice a difference. Planning on installing an Amp and maybe two more speakers. Here are some pics

Nice! Lower speakers double the sound up front! Makes a big difference!

Very nice! Does anyone make dedicated speaker pods/enclosures to install one's own speakers on the engine guards without the need for the HD lower fairings? Searched around here but did not run into anything.

My friend used passing lamp housings to hold 41/2's on his road king .
