just bought a audio control overdrive line driver for the bike and am confused on the power plug there is the +12 which goes to the battery and the ground but what goes to the remote(red arrow).
i have a alipine mrx-f65, maybe i asked the wrong question what is the remote cable used for, is it supposed to go to a power source that turns on the amp and line driver when the bike is turned on

if you're running a stock head unit then yes you'll want it connected to a +voltage source that turns off and on with the ignition in both ignition and acc position.
If you're using an aftermarket head unit, then you'll want this connected to the (usually) blue or blue/white stripoed remote turn on wire coming off the head unit.
So to answer your question, yes it's what's used to turn the amp off and on. Not sure about the line driver as I'm sure it will require it's own power source.
