I have the HD lower fairing speaker pods and It seems that I will not be able to re-use my original quick detach hardware for my lower fairings anymore as the head of the bolt is to large to fit in the upper mounting hole in the pod? Has anyone else with this upgrade had the same problem?

 

nope.. just did lowers for 5time with detachable hardware.. all worked fine bud.

 

Hmmm? I know the hardware will work for the bottom hole in the pod itself and the lower foot area but the upper pod hole has a tapered chamfer that gets narrower toward the back of the pod and the slotted head of the mount bolt is to large to go all the way in?

 

are they stock HD lowers? didn't have any issues with this one...

I have faring factorys lowers, with kuick detach lowers, works fine for me. bud
