As mentioned already, Class D amps will be hit and miss. The only reason I am stating it again is because I have a Soundstream 4.520 that I just purchased a few weeks ago, and have no FM reception loss. In fact, I have better reception now with my new system (Sony DSX-S310BTX) than I had with my HK radio and Hogtunes amp. And I hardly listen to FM... Go figure...

$8 down the tube (of course) BUT on the plus side I found the cause of my lousy FM....bad connection/crimp on the cable. Clear as a bell now. My ELF Amp works great!
I thought that I read on here one night about a guy who put a layer or sheet of lead between the radio and the amp to clear up the reception issues. If I recall he bought the sheet of lead at home depot.

read the same - don't recall exactly who. Lead roofing flashing IIRC. Pounded thin to save some weight (it is lead...)
