Default Biketronics BT2180 vs. RF PBR300x2

My current setup:
- Stock head unit
- ARC KS125.2
- Line level converter
- El cheapo Rodek 6.5" which did amazing job at being loud but very lacking in 'quality'

Turned out i can sell my entire system for $1.000-1.200 in my country, so i have the option for complete makeover of my sound system and not having to spend more, my friend is coming from LA by the end of this month and willing to handcarry for me, so I can have everything free of shipping cost and tax!!!! YAY!!!

My planned upgrade:
- have BT1005 laying around unused, so I am going to use it for aftermarket HU
- already bought a JVC KD-AVX77 Head Unit from Ebay, factory refurb for $299
- definitely getting BT7P1 for the rave reviews by practically everyone on this forum...
- considering BT2180 or RF PBR300x2, the price difference is huge between the two, installed correctly RF PBR300x2 will deliver and being reliable, rated at 100W x 2 @4OHM should be just right to drive the BT7P1, at $150 it is a real bargain...However, Biketronics stuffs has been top notch, rated at 180WX2 @4OHM this thing should kick some a$$...so wondering about the power and quality between the two....

Bill from biketronics and UltraNutz (thanks for the millions of helps UltraNutz) actually suggested me to keep the ARC KS125.2 and try it with BT7P1, but I do not want to risk underpower, especially considering it is easier to sell my current setup as a whole and having my friend hand carry the new stuffs from US, no shipping no tax, so i wanna play it safe.

Suggestion please....

Thanks in advance...

both are good amps so either you choose will work perfectly fine.

Is it true that the more wattage the amp deliver compared to speaker nominal handling the less chance to distort? My rodek speaker is rated at 50W and my amp at 75W, I can drive my speaker to almost max volume with no distortion and no blown tweeter so far.

Keep the Arc and use the RCA Inputs on new HU. Never cared for line level converters.
