Do it! Make hell of a difference! Too much will bury your sound, too little will do nothing, just the right amount and you will be amazed. I bought 3/4-1" thick polyfill and only use one layer, three layer is for the thinner polyfill...

Does anyone have a picture of a wrapped speaker? I plan to do this next week, when mine come in, but want to make sure I understand how to wrap it and have it stay on.

Working on my stereo right now, so here ya go. Excuse the mess, I just want to get the system up and running to perfection, running ipod wire to my saddlebag, etc. Then when I have nothing better to do I will tidy up the wires.....everything soldered up and shrink wrapped, 8 ga power and ground wire, 4 ga wire to feed and ground the head unit, I tend to overdo...

Closer picture... Basically I just cut a long sheet much wider than the speaker, then wrap the polyfill around the speaker, slipping the sheets on the small crevices around the speaker adapter to hold it in place, use a little gorilla tape where necessary then cable tie the open end on the speaker magnet....if you can open your fairing you can do this...

Thanks for the pictures. Good thing that gets covered up by the fairing, that's ugly. But I can live with covered ugly, if the sound is good.
