Default Roadglide audio

I'm going to add speakers and amp or amps to my fltru. I plan on adding the CVO pods in the lowers and going with the polk mm651s in the lowers and the fairing. My question is about amps. I was thinking of going with 2 pbr300x2 amps one for the fairing speakers and one for the lowers. I only attach my tourpack occasionally so I was just going to run that off the radio. I'm not sure about a few things.
1. Should I go with 2 amps?
2. Not entirely sure how to wire this up.
3. Would I be better off going with a 4 channel amp? I haven't seen good things about the RF 4 channel. I listen to my radio often and have read that the soundstream interferes. What would give me a good bang for the buck?

Thanks!

The Soundstream 4.520 would be great in your application, if you dont mind losing FM. Cheaper than 2 pbr amps. Speaker choice is OK. The two pbr amps would work good if you wanted to keep FM, though.

What exactly are you unsure how to wire? Power or speakers?

Wiring up the audio out off the radio to the amps and then to the speakers. I do really want to keep my fm.

if you want to keep FM, you'd be better off with;

2 PBR300x2 amps and I would recommend 2 pair of Biketronics Titan II 6.5" speakers

Unless you want to spring for the Biketronics BT4180 amp.

Thanks for the info. Why do you like the biketronics better than the polks? What about their 7.1s in the fairing? I really liked the sound of the polks in the fairing of my streetglide. I'm not trying to debate I value your opinion. I felt like the polks gave pretty good bass and midrange for a 6.5" speaker. I know bigger is not always better.

the 7.1" provide for a LOT more bass response...

the sound quality is excellent just as the polks are albeit a tad bit different sound. Didn't know what I was missing til I put these bad boys in.

I've already spent my play money this month on a cam swap. Anyway, I'm ok with my stereo for now. Lids are next on my list.
