Default Bluetooth units?

Anyone ever use a Bluetooth unit that connects to the aux port? I was wanting something that I could have hidden in my batwing fairing and have my iphone on the handlebar mount without exposed wiring. Kinivo btc450 is one that uses a dc port for power and the aux port to connect it claims to auto connect (Bluetooth)with a paired device so there shouldn't be any reason to access the device I don't think? Just don't have the coin to replace the head unit and buy the retro radio adapter at the moment so looking for something cheap to gets by.

I tried one to use with my android phone. I had the phone in the tour pack and streamed through it. It was rechargeable through a USB port. Sound was OK, but when I would flip through the songs, I kept hitting the wrong button and it would redial the last phone number.

I use the GOgroove Bluetooth. Works great. Just velcro and go. A charge will last all day riding.

How is the sound quality with the go groove? Are all Bluetooth reciever going to hurt sound quality compared to using the aux port?

Sound quality is fine. For the money you can't beat it.
