Ordered the amp and install kit from Amazon and the BT 7.1's from CruiserCustomizing.com should be here in a few days.
I went that route also but couldn't do the pbr amp because I dont trust rf stuff anymore, I've invest in them on two different occasions and both times had to remove them for overheating issues. Not on bikes on cars but I would think it would be worst in a fairing.
My biketronics stuff is in the mail, the last piece before I button her up from the winter projects. I ordered through biketronics, they took care of me on the price.

What type of amps were they ???? The 4 CH RF did have an overheating problem in it's infancy, and I still wouldn't recommend it. But the 2 CH amp , RF PBR 300/2 is a tough , powerful amp, proven many times over !!
I called Biketronics and at the time to order and Bill said they were behind on production because of the high volume of units requested (He said possibly a 3 week delay) so I ended up ordering mine from phatperformance because I have no patience for the same price you paid - $269
Well despite me ordering them from crusercustomizing.com they're still back-ordered. I was wondering why they hadn't showed yet and today I dug through my email and found a notice that said they expect to ship on 2/26. I ordered them on 2/1.....
