Default RCA amp input issues

Just wanted to throw this out there in case someone else wants to use the RCA's or has an issue.
I have an older Sony HU and a ARC 125.2 bridged to 4 speakers in upper and lower fairings. I prefer using the RCA inputs/outputs for the cleaner sound. I've been having issues with the left channel on the amp going in and out. I found that the plug on the amp was loose inside the amp from the plug/cable vibrating, and I used the 90° plug cables for the reason of not having extra hanging out and stressing the plug. I fixed this plug twice, tightening the contacts up and a solder joint once.
Well it came to a head the other day (3rd time) and dug out the pigtail to connect the regular output of the radio to the wired input on the amp. Everything is fine now, but I can tell the difference in the sound.
This setup on the bike is at least 4 or so years old and still sounds good, just another thing to think about for the next setup!

Have you conferred with ARC about the RCA plug issue?

I had similiar symptoms recently on one channel. Fortunately it was a bad RCA cable after 4 yrs. Picked up some 1.6ft StreetWires zero noise RCA cables on eBay and back in business.
