hertz
who has hertz speakers? i have biketronics 7.1 that are installed but not used due to so much snow but hear nothing but raves about the hertz and am contemplating changing some stuff. lets hear some opinions.
I'd like to hear some feedback on these speakers as well. . . .all my Roadglide friends rave about these but I have not heard the new ones. . .
I have the Hertz hcx 690 (6x9's). In the fairing, Polk mm691 (6x9's) in the saddle bags. You will be hard pressed to find a better speaker then the Hertz, just be advised they are power hogs. I power them with a JL Audio 600 watt amp
currently running The Hi Energy HSK 165XL in the front and the HCX 165. Switching to the HSK165XL in the saddlebag lid. Powered by the Hertz HDP4 amp.

As stated above Hertz made the Titan speakers for Biketronics and now HAT makes the Titan II speakers for Biketronics. Must be a reason they changed. I have had experience with both and the 7.1's win in my book. I went through two sets of the Hertz HCX-165 Titan 6.5's prior to the Titan II 7.1's. Gotta love that Biketronics lifetime warranty.
Not knocking the Hertz in any way. They are a great sounding speaker but my personal preference is the 7.1.
