Knew 2 guys that tried them, but ...........didn't sound very good. There's a little science that goes into making enclosures...........I like the thump of the 6X9 versus the hummmmm of the sub. Both guys took them out.
Unless you could get a 10 - 12 inch, properly boxed, you'd be wasting your time.
I am running a set of J & M subs in the saddlebags. Really don't hear them on the road, but feel them and hear them when I'm not moving and they are NICE!!

No offense, but...............the J & M 'subs', can't hold a candle to the PIONEER 6X9's.
I saw John's Orange Harley at the Bike Show when the subs came out. The bike sounds good, but the 'subs' pale in comparison , (badly), to the Pioneers.
