Has anyone tried installing the AudioControl LC2i 2 channel line output converter?

Has anyone tried installing the AudioControl LC2i 2 channel line output converter between the Boom! radio and an aftermarket Amp?

This looks to me like it might solve all our problems trying to hook up our own aftermarket Amp to the 2014 BOOM! audio radio..

Hope this helps us with out 2014 Harley Audio upgrades.
