Rookie CB Question
I only rode sport bikes my whole life and will be moving to a EC Limited soon. I was wondering do you guy register with the FCC prior to you jumping on your CB radio or do you just make up your own call sign and ask easy questions over the net i.e. weather, traffic, and where cops are hiding lol ?

No registration needed and by the sounds of your question, you should be prepared for a let down in range and quality. I live in a rural area and had to go to a truck stop to even tell it was working. Is nice for groups riding together but dont expect much from others unless they are pretty close by. Hope this helps.
