I am planning on buying a Rockford PBR300x2 OR PBR300x4 amp for my 2012 SG. I already have purchased the JL audio C5-650 component speakers. I replaced the hogtunes tweeters with the JL tweeters in my Hogpod already.
My question is how is the easiest way to wire the system up? I could just go with the PBR300x2 (was thinking I would just spend the extra $30 and get the 4 channel amp for future upgrades, not sure still).
Are there plug and play amp wiring harnesses (Hogtunes sells the NCA 70.2 with the plug and play harness for a little over $200) out there for after market amps?
While on the subject of Hogtunes, does Rockford make these amps? If so would it be cheaper to just buy the damn Hogtunes setup? (Amp and wiring harness)??
Any help is appreciated. I searched the hell outta google and hdforums for answers and came up with nothing but a headache.
Get the 300x2. If you want to upgrade you can get a second one.
No plug and play harnesses, but it's easy. Get an amp install kit with a fuse holder and 10 gauge wire and some speaker wire and we'll walk you through it.

Ok, I'll go with the PBR300x2 ... are there any decent tutorials on what wires I need to hook everything up? I've installed amps in cars (but it's been years) so I'm not too worried about doing it, just unsure what exactly I'm going to need.

I think you should check out the soundstream. More output and more channels for less money. Try the TN4.900D or the PN4.520.
