Default Alright I need help!!

I have a RF pbr300x2. Titan speakers, Sony 310btx, and the retro radio harness. I must have worked too hard today because I cant understand if I need to hook up the RCA's or the high output way. I have to missing something really simple. I did reference NUTZ sticky and still cant figure this damn thing out.

Do I just connect the 4 speaker wires from the amp to the speakers and Im done?

I have everything else connected right.

Thanks, Jeremy

Ever been so frustrated after a long day even beer doesn't taste good? Me either in fact if it wasn't for the beer I might be yelling at the wife!!!!

Super post! Seems that people recommend the high-level (speaker level) inputs for that pbr. Should be white (left+) white/black (left-) grey (right+) and grey/black (right-) right into that pbr. Should turn it on too, may not even need the rem wire?

So if I cut the input harness, what do I connect the wires too. That's the point I'm lost.

Not exactly. The wires don't have individual "ports". They all go into the red part in one bundle. Do I cut the corresponding wires before or after the white connector? Also am I tying all 3 wires together or just from the amp and to the retro radio kit?

If you are using the high level inputs to supply signal to the amp, connect the output speaker wires from the radio to the amp, then run the output wires from the amp to the speakers.

Kid, I am not familiar with the Rf, but normally for the best sound with an after market radio you run rca out from head unit to amp... rca inputs, and then run the speaker wires to the amp. Rca to amp gives you cleaner signal then the speaker output amplification hook up IMO!

Pioneer, thanks a lot for the help. I was having a hard time getting myself to cut any of the wires coming from the radio. I'm gonna give it a try and see what happens. Ill be back here either happy as hell or drinking more beer!!!

[quote=Pioneer74;12506531 connect the output speaker wires from the radio to the amp.[/quote]

There's that black plug that plugs into the back of the Sony HU. You should have coming off that plug:

white
white/black
gray
gray/black

Just match them up with the output wires on the PBR.
