Default help me decide

Posted this in touring and was told to look here
Have searched and poked around here and meant to post here - so admin can delete the other if they want??

I am leaning toward keeping the HK head unit
getting the iPod interface from iron Cross
I am tempted by the Hog Tunes Big RG Kit and the J&M Performance Series 4 speaker package.
I know the Hog Tunes is plug and play and I believe the J&P is too

I have a RFpbr300x4 in a hot rod and like it & see that people use it
in their bikes too. Speakers are another story - I was leaning toward ARC Audio moto602 in the front and focal integration 6.5's in the rear

Reading here and other forums I see stuff about biketronics 7.1's, I had polks in a deadcenter fairing for my roadking that I liked (driven by an arc 125.2) also stopped by a local shop and they were talking RF power series speakers.

Iron Cross Ipod interface says their ipod unit will work with all these set ups so.... what would you all do?? Thanks!

You might want to edit your post to J&M speakers so everyone has a clear understanding of what speakers you are referring to. The 7.1's are the winners with the speakers you mentioned. I love the soundstream amps but I don't give a rats *** about FM reception and some folks have an issue with sound stream for that reason. That said. . Take a look at the fosgate X2 amps!

I run a PBR300x4 and a set of t165's in my fairing and have a set of t1692's along with hogtunes lids on the way... Also have the hog pod running off the HK front channels...

I ran the 6.5's all last year with no issues.. Sound is defiantly superior to stock... Clear highs some mid range some bass but I wasn't expecting bag shaking bass either..

I will report back when I get the lids and 6x9's installed... My system is all Rockford Fosgate... I like to match my component manufactures... Just something I've always done... Wether I'm building an engine or a sound system I like to have my stuff match... Most times a guy in a white coat who is much smarter than most people is designing the components to work together just my $.02
