Unhappy updated problem

well here is the problem while i am riding with the radio on it will loose audio yet the radio will show that the volume is up and the radio will be lit up and also show the radio station that is supposedly playing yet no sound out of speakers so i turn it off and a little while later i will turn it back on and i will have sound again but then a while the audio will go out again the system is stock with avc on and off does not make a difference It is a 2006 streetglide please assist someone says a dirty speed sensor . should i think it might be in the radio itself in which case is it worth getting repaired

Sounds like you are describing something fairly common with the Harman Kardon head unit. It probably has a broken circuit board due to vibration and some bolts that are too big. It can be repaired by taking it out and sending it to Iron Cross.
