I just followed the recommendation of Gannicus, in an earlier post.
Should I have ordered something besides the Kickers for the rear pods?
You will be extremely happy with the kickers in the rear pods. The 2 ohm 4 ohm thing is a none issue. Just adjust your front/rear channel gains accordingly.

He said he bought the PBR300x2. There's only one gain setting with that amp. I'm assuming he'll run the front and rear speakers in parallel since it's a 2 channel amp.
[QUOTE=hivoltg;12738964]Do I run the kicker's with just the factory radio pushing them? I think you can drive them with the HK head unit; or as an alternative you could run all four speakers in parallel from the PBR300X2; but since it's a 2 channel amp you'll only have left/right channels. If you're going to drive them from the stock HU you'll want speakers that are efficient. Personally, I'd choose a 2 ohm vs. 4 ohm speaker if you're driving it from the HK head unit.

I've read in other posts on the forum that the 62.11i's will fit in the tourpak pods as they are relatively shallow depth. I believe you will have to drill new holes to mount them in the pods.
I plan to run the infinity speakers in the fairing, with the amp pushing them.
I plan to run some speakers in the rear pods, just powered by the head unit. However I may buy an amp for them in the future.
Can I run the same infinity speakers in the rear pods? If not, what would be my best option?
Hivoltg - Yeah I would be the guy confused. I was under the impression you were going with the four channel power acoustic amp since it was cheaper than the PBR? My bad!! If you are rolling with the 300X2 all you can do is run the infinitys in the fairing. It does you no good to change the speakers in the rear pods if your not going to amp them. Without an amp the best speakers to run in the pods off the head unit is the JM 5.25 2 ohm pod speakers for an upgrade to the stockers. The infinitys will fit in the pods but they won't sound very good without being amped.
I'll order another set of Infinity speakers for the speaker pods and another PBR300x2 to push them
You might want to reconsider the previous suggestion to go with a four channel amp. It will save you weight and space underneath your fairing. RF has a new 4 channel class a/d amp that looks interesting although I haven't seen any feedback on it from motorcycle riders yet: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_575T400...ad.html?tp=115
