I have this loaded in my Amazon shopping cart along with some
Kicker 40CS674 6-3/4" CS-Series Coaxial Speakers, but am wondering since it is a four channel amp am I wasting power/money/effort, and would be best served with a 2 channel amp?
I really don't see myself getting four speakers for a Street Glide, but you never know. I bought a tour pack for it for long trips,so there is a place for rear pods, or maybe in the future I could do lids.
In the mean time does it hurt anything to run a four channel amp for only front speakers?
The PN4.520D is only $104 and is cheaper than the 2.350 and PBR300x2. There are post on this forum that say it is a great amp. Does it hurt anything to run a four channel amp with two speakers? Are there any special considerations?
No, but you might lose FM reception with a class D amp. I'd second the recommendation for using the RF PBR300X2. I have one and it drives my fairing speakers well, and I keep FM.

It won't hurt, but the two amps I referenced have more power per channel than two channels of the 4.520.
I have a Ultra with the tour pack with pod speakers with a 500 watt amp and at freeway speeds you can not hear the rear pod speakers. In my opinion anythig behind you is a waste of money.

Then something is wrong, because even with my wife on the bike I can clearly hear my lids and pods. And I could hear the pods when I was running the SS4.520 and Polk MM's.

I agree with Pioneer. . . My lids and pods are so loud I have to turn them down to hear the front speakers. I'm running two 520.D's. You need to check your set up Sir!
