Very nice.. Having my PBR300x2 installed only a week, I look forward to the RF crew input. The T1693 is also on the short list for my recently ordered HT lids, so it will be nice to hear some input re: speakers....
Just wanted to pop-in and introduce Rockford Fosgate. We're a long-time subscriber of HD Forums and now a proud sponsor! Our team has enjoyed reading real-world experiences of audio products on Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
I'm Eric Russell, and I'll be the primary representative who will monitor/contribute to your forum group regarding Rockford Fosgate motorcycle audio. I'll do my best to handle technical issues, including research, raising issues with our engineering team, or point you in the right direction.
If you're new to motorcycle audio, we have a great Knowledge Base with a growing motorcycle article repository to help you overcome noise and wiring issues on bikes. We've also partnered with a great fabricator, Paul Yaffe and his team at Bagger Nation, to create a 6-video series that walks DIY installers through a "House Party" audio system.
Welcome to the forum Eric and Bill. This should be good news for all the "fanatics" on here.(except maybe one other sponsor) Anyway welcome!! One question I always wondered about is why is the Punch 2 channel amp such a great little amp but the 4 channel not so much, or has the 4 channel amp been upgraded or redesigned. Thinking of up grading my S.S. 520 to something more powerful but my only option (it seems) is the BT4180. Thanks for your time.

potentially +1.... had 300x2 in previous setup (kind of wish I did not bring it over to Europe for my brother )
would be nice to get FM back - just in case wife wants to listen to KNPR LOL. ...and of course welcome RF crew!
The New Prime lineup of amps. Do you have any documented info on current draw for these 2 amps, T400X2ad, T400X4ad?
One of the biggest concerns I have and sadly enough I've spread that around here a little is the mentality of Class A technology on a bike with a limited charging system. Class A usually means in the auto world anyways, high heat, high current draw. Would sure like to see some info or some discussion on current draw and heat dissipation for these amps to be able to make a more educated decision.
Also, does RF offer some kind of cover for the controls of these 2 amps? I can see that being an issue especially in dusty and sandy environments, not to mention water.
Thanks,
Todd
