Default Biketronics splash cover

Biketronics recommends using a type of fishing line to secure the cover onto your bike (just in case it comes flying out). For the life of me, I can't recall the type.

Does anyone remember the type?

Could it be Flourocarbon or older monofilament types? I hadn't heard of this but I suppose you could make a lanyard with it and attach from cover to bars etc. If don't mind a few small strips of velcro there is room on left/rt sides of faceplate I've used to better secure cover.

That's it, monofilament line. I couldn't remember the name. But, I'm also considering a small strip of velcro.

Thank you

I have a JVC single DIN radio. Will these splash covers fit?

Troop if you have Biketronics faceplate mount it'll fit. Don't think it'll fit with other faceplate mount like Hawg Wired etc.

I have the Metra install kit, and the BT splash cover DOES fit over it. I have to clean mine up; it's a mess, looks like oil or something dripped on it. But I've put it on my radio since the replacement install (which included the new Metra dash kit and a painted inner fairing, which I don't want to scrape up).
