Does anyone know if they make a good qaulity 6.5" subwoofer speaker that I can mount into my lower fairing speaker boxes? These would need to be ran with a Soundstream 4.520 amp and a pair of 7.1's in the fairing? my goal is to achieve more Bass?

More bass in the lowers? Thats damn near impossible. Only because there is not enough air available to achieve what it is that you are trying to do. The standard for bike sound (at least in my area) is to focus the front on your mids and highs and the rears for your bass. Thats the reason a lot of folks focus on good high quality 6.5s (which are two way mid and high) and put the high bass output 6x9s in the bags. With that amp, you should have no issues creating bass with a good pair of 6x9s in the bags. I would stay away from chasing bass out of the front channels. You'll get some good thumps, but nothing near what will come from the 6x9s. Im sure others will chime in with their experience...

I just thought I would see what others are saying and or have tried? I know the best way to go is to run a pair of Pioneer 6x9's in some bag lids. But I don't have the coin for new lids plus paint etc,etc Plus I've never been a fan of speakers in the lids due to weather and taking up space so that's why I posted this thread but thanks for your advice.

You said it all Eshaw. . . . I got nothing. My only comment to OP would be to stay with the tried and true and read the forum.
Ok I'm going to chime in here not because I think I have a solution, only because I know it's an option you may not have considered. I read on your sig that you have a UGC. No indication if you have a tour pak. If you do I've seen guys mount 8" subwoofers in the corner of a tour pak with outstanding results. Not something I have done, or will do, but the results are pretty sweet. Someone else on this forum found a company called V-Twin audio that happens to make these type of set ups and I can only assume this was probably the beast I saw in the wild, or at least a very similar version by another company. Of course if you don't have a tour pak then my typing this out is for naught. That is unless it ends up inspiring someone else that browses this thread.
To: GLACIERPEARL Im not going ever mount speakers in my saddlebags.
To: MontyCop05 I have an 05' electra glide classic not an ultra but yes I do have a tour pack just no passenger speakers. Your suggestion sounds like a nice Idea but I ride solo most of the time and have no use for the Tour pack unless Im gonna be on a long trip or something but thanks for the option. I just dont see how were not able to achieve some sort of better bass out of two 6.5" subs then out of a 6.5" or 7.1" midrange speaker? I get that its still not gonna be this heavy pounding smashing your face kinda bass but I would think that tuned right it has to be better than the bass your gonna get from a midrange speaker?
bass needs a constrained space and compressed air movement (why sub woofer box design is an art and a science). You aren't getting either on a bike. You won't hear or feel those sound waves without it, and when moving they disappear in the wind noise. Basically you are looking to spend money on something that doesn't exist. A 6.5 midrange (very high end like hertz) will provide more, but not what you are asking for.
