bass needs a constrained space and compressed air movement (why sub woofer box design is an art and a science). You aren't getting either on a bike. You won't hear or feel those sound waves without it, and when moving they disappear in the wind noise. Basically you are looking to spend money on something that doesn't exist. A 6.5 midrange (very high end like hertz) will provide more, but not what you are asking for.
Subs on a bike are for parking lots, nothing more
Very well said! I just thought I would throw the ? out there to see what others are saying or have done. I guess I will just stick with my Sony HU, SoundStream Amp, and BT/Hat 6.5" and 7.1" up front...............
and when moving they disappear in the wind noise...
Au contraire mon frere! I think you need to ride a scoot with a pair of 6x9s that are properly powered. You can definitely FEEL the thumps while you ride....

i can feel mine as well up to certain speed, but not the same as when sitting still. I ride with folks with [U]INSANE/U] stereo systems (hertz/jl +) and even with 8" drivers in both bags you don't get the bass at speed. Physics can be a royal pain in our plans sometimes

You're right...you cant feel the bass vibrations at speed but those initial "thumps" are definitely felt.
LOL. . . All the more reason to eventually go with 6 x 9's in the upper fairing so the bass is right in your face.
Trust me, I'm def considering a 6x9 double din fairing ie the Camtech. Wonder if I could convince the wife i need to match my camtech bags and rear fender?
