I'll second that. How's the rear pods? I just have the 4180 with the 7.1's in the fairing, can't decide what I want to do next while squirrel away some money for the next step.
The rear pods are understandably larger than the original and you lose the volume and radio switch but I(OR BACKSEAT) never used them anyway......VERY good upgrade.....my pillow seat now fits a bit more snug in between them.....we'll see how it wears....got the fader geared a few degrees to the rear and with the fronts sounds AMAZING!

Just a thought, rear pods you can hear when riding solo, bags lids, your passenger can hear better, because passenger's legs willl block the sound on the pods. Lower fairing speakers are better for the driver to hear... ah just do all four with that amp (BT 4180) its got the power lol.
So.... I should get the speakers in the lowers for me, in the lids for the wife, and in the pods for when the wife isn't with me. I"m gonna need a second job.
