I had a chance to get the Vtwin audion 6.5 speaker lid modification for a great deal and jumpped on it without considering having a 6x9 in the lid. In retrospect... Well... I would have gone 6x9! I am going to take your advice on the hookup! I will let you know how it works out. Again thank you! Artillery all the way! Airborne!
You can still put a 6x9 in your bag facing the wheel and run it in series parallel with the kappa. It would add a little bass to it. Just a suggestion. Artillery huh??? Im sure i've done a few sling-loads of artillery pieces that you shot while I was at Bragg. 82nd Aviation Brigade, Chinook crew 2001-2008. Airborne!

I was in during that time. I actually retired in 2008 but did almost 17 years on Bragg! 1/39th FA; 1/319th AFAR; 3/321 FA.

I was in Kandahar off and on from 2011-2012 as a contractor. Was in Bagram in 02-03 helping to build all those darned outposts that are along the border. Those were some long back breaking flights back then. Never knew a Chinook could handle what it handles. Was in Balad in 2005 and again in 2008-2009, then Taji from 2009-2010...all as a contractor. Then was back in Balad during that same period from 2011-2012. Was back and forth between Kandahar and Bagram. So yeah, I know the middle east (at least the military bases) like the back of my hand.

So I am taking your advice and I may add a set of 6x9s inside the bags pointing towards the wheels. What do you think about these two brands: Pioneer TS-A6995R or Hertz HCX 690.
