Angry kenwood kdc-798

I have read this manual 10 times and I am lost. I even looked it up online. I cant figure out how to set my sound options . I am running BT 7.1 and a BT 180 2 channel amp . I am getting alot of distortion in my speakers. I have blowin speakers in the past from this. If anyone has a idea of how to set this up I would welcome the help.

The audio controls are a little tricky at first. When I hook up through BT, if you press the button once it will read function, press the button again, it will read audio. The first option says sub woofer level, press the back button and then it will give you the complete audio menu. At this menu, you can adjust, sub woofer output, balance, fade, pro setup and different equalizer setups. Hope that helps...

Thank you. But I have to be honest I have no clue what all that does. I tryed to set the different options and have no clue what to set them to. All I got was distortion and it was not loud at all. My sony was very load. I hope it's just something I am doing wrong.

I would have to look at my radio to determine the audio settings. I have the sub woofer level set to 0 dB, the balance is set at zero, fader is set for zero. The equalizer is set for rock, Loudness is off, drive equalizer is on. Hope that helps. My audio is loud and clear at 75 MPH.

Glad to hear you got it all straighted out. I'll be installing an amp this weekend with almost the same head unit. Do you have to set the audio settings for each source? I'm assuming I should use the cd as source when I'm setting up the amp? thx
