DD24V, do yourself a HUGE favor and call Bill at Biketronics. After your conversation you will have no doubt you should go with BT. I'd bet dollars to donuts that just about everyone here will agree with me on this.
From Nutz to Eshaw. . . .We did all we could do bagger. Can't do anything more but wish the OP well. He will be happy with the JM system! The forum is not going anywhere we'll be here next spring.
Well to give you some info I blew my 7.1s 3 times it was not the speakers it was me. I called bt and they sent me a new pair of 7.1 pros to try for next to nothing cheaper then the 7.1s. I have so much respect for that company . I told them it was my fault and they told me not to worry about it. They told me we will work with you until we get it . I was on the phone with one of their guy's for 45 mins shooting the **** and talking bikes. I told him I switched hu sony to Kenwood and he told me they are looking into the Kenwoods after hearing the reviews. You will not go wrong with bt stand up people. Donna ext is 200 talk to her and Bill .

And that is why you will come back again and recommend BT to everyone you know. I've talked to Bill 3 or 4 times and he doesn't try give you a hard sell because his products sell themselves. They are not the least expensive but certainly less than some and of superior quality. He has a customer for life in me without even trying because he does the same thing for everyone every day.
Anyone see any issues with this combo? Anyone know the best place to get a deal on this setup is? JM wants 1600, I found it a Sierra Electronics for 1400. Any chance of getting it a bit cheaper? Thanks
I dont see any issues with your selection. Like i said before, you cant go wrong with either JM or BT kits. I had the JM and loved it...until someone with a full custom stereo pulled up next to me and blew it out the water. Had it not been for that, I probably would still be rocking my JM system. And honestly, I was so happy with the Rokker speakers, I am seriously considering adding a set to my lower fairings when I get em. Reason being is that they come with everything I need....speakers, grills, crossovers, mounting box, everything...and the speakers can handle some power (they're gonna need it cause that 4.900 is gonna give it to em). I truly think that they will hold their own in my system and worst case scenario, they will at least compliment what I already have. Also, here is a price for the Rokker system from Hill Country Cycles...I bought my rokker tweeters from them...
I've never had to use the customer service for BT, but I love the speakers (7.1) on my RG. When my Kickers finally give out, I'll be purchasing some more 7.1's for the rear pods. One of the best speakers and warranty for the money...
