Well I have a handle bar kit on my bike from when I bought it and love the thing till I hit about 45 at max volume then I can't hear it anymore I ride with a half helmet and no windshield so I can get some wind in my beard but I am looking for something I can hear at about 80 on the interstate I have looked at the boom kit which seems to get much louder in the dealer on the display than mine does with the bike off. I was wondering if anyone has used this kit with a half helmet and no windshield or maybe if anyone has a similar kit they could recommend. I'm not a big fan of ear buds on a bike because they block out to much and I have a friend who wears them and I can blow an air horn at him while coming up alongside and he never knows I'm there(not safe). Any opi ions are appreciated
