Upgrade step #3 is coming. I am going to do lids with single 6x9's. I've been looking and there are a lot of people that make lids. I was wondering who had feedback on what brands to steer clear of and what brands are better. I will be doing the body work and maybe the painting myself, so less filler more better. Water tight is a must, my wife and I travel by two wheels often so "a little leakage" is not an option. I've decided BT 6x9's for sure.
If you've decided BT 6.9 for sure then their package with the hogtunes lids is about as good as you will likely find. The price for the speakers separate is about 450 so they are giving you a heck of a deal on the lids to go with them. I'm planning on doing the same after I get over paying for the 4180 and 7.1's plus a head unit.
