bt audio install ??

2014 street glide did most of you remove tank and run power wire under tray ? reason ask is directions say nothing about removing tank. and did you use the ground location listed in install directions ? this is bt2180

I did not remove the tank took some welding wire and pulled it threw.yes I did ground it to the frame on the neck. What are you installing for speaker??

I pulled my tank but I was also running a wire harness for lid and pod speakers.

Did not remove the tank this time. Could someone post a picture of the grounding location on the neck? Currently grounded directly to battery. Would like to ground HU to neck if possible.

BT is very adamant about grounding to the triple tree as shown in their instructions. They also recommend the head unit to be grounded at the same location.
