Default Stereo wiring

Quick question, I just installed a Memphis Shades fairing on my Heritage & am thinking of adding the HD or Hogtunes windshield mounted stereo. I am wondering if I could run the wiring under the tank console & tank panel instead of under the tank. Would be a lot easier install.
Any thoughts on this???

You can run the wiring how ever you want as long as it doesn't chafe and short to ground. Remember to protect that wiring by fusing it as close as possible to the power source.
Cheers!

It is really easy to run the wires under the tank. All you need to do is loosen the front bolt, take rear bolt out and you can lift the tank enough to get a fish line through to pull the wires through. You should only need three wires power, ground and acc. Most of us don't even take the tank off when we do our bars. I can get you some pics if needed or better instructions once I get home and on a real computer.

That would be great, thanks. Can give home email if you want to do that.
