That's the bottom end setup I used in my engine. Rockwell hardness of that crank is about the tops. The Carillo rods are excellent as well. I have some hard miles on mine no issues.

They're the shitz and giggles for sure. Promote them (P3R FlyWheels) the secret is out, save some other peeps from the same fatality I had with my S&S crank.
What compensator were you running when you snapped the output shaft off? The reason I ask is because mine did the exact same when I was running my Evo 30tooth comp. sprocket.Currently running an updated SE comp. Been on for 6yrs. now and no probs. as of yet.

BDL, Ya I talked to Frank, He mentioned after it broke the only 2 crank spindles that ever broke was direct drive Comps. There was also a issue where one of my inner primary bolts came loose and lodged in my chain and brought my motor to a sudden stop, that may have started a fracture crack in it.
No ones fault but my own. I probably over compensated with the P3RFlyweels crank and Carrillo rods, but now I have the bulletproof bottom end I wanted to start with.
I'm running my original stock Comp now. The newest updated SE Comp, takes a funnel that is glued/built into the outer primary cover. A new cover is required from Procharger. Walt mentioned it was about 450.00+250 SE Comp=700.00 **** lube is free
