I come from a small online community focused on the Shelby Dodge cars of the 80's. turbo-mopar.com We have a motto about going fast on junk yard parts. I know putting turbo's on Motorcycles isn't as popular as in cars. Part of the reason is the lack of knowledge about turbo's in general, and price of a turbo "kit". I realize in turn, the price of the turbo kit may reflect the lack of interest in turbo systems.
If I were to do a "build your own" turbo system I realize I need more fuel. I need a turbo among other parts. What size turbo would I be after? I have a small turbo laying around from a volvo. Where would you get injectors from?
I have a list of other questions but I will start with these..

This is my first bike with fuel injection. How does the ecu control the amount of fuel that is injected? It seems like using the o2 sensors would be inefficient. I would think there would have to be some sort of MAP sensor plus rpm and engine temperature. Just like a speed density set up in a car. I didn't see anything that looked like a MAF sensor.
