I did a boost leak test today and found out that I have a bad leak. The throttle blade shaft bearing on the cable side is leaking. The bearing in the right side is not press fit so you can turn the inner race with your finger. Throttle body is HPI.
My bike is an wideglide 2010 with a S&S 124" HSU kit with a procharger.
It makes 215 HP and 185 TQ at 6400 rpm. So with the top end power I'm happy but I think without this leak I would have a much better middle range power as boost starts at 4000 rpm and by 6400 rpm I have about 12 PSI of boost.
So I wonder if anybody else have done a leak test and what throttle body you have?
