Hello from Edmonton, AB! I don't own a Harley yet but am looking to get onto one as soon as possible. I've done mostly sport bikes but am looking to move on. BTW, anyone have a lead on a Olive Denim Nightster for sale?
Also... does anyone know why when I go into the "Other Countries" section, there are no threads showing yet this one exist? I only noticed this due to the "Last Post" column.
Durham Region....Ontario....doin some mods on my '08 FLHTC until it's time to ride....last season, put about 15k on my '08 Dyna, this season, I hope to do that and more.
Brutal! We're expecting below average temperatures for the next 3 months? This is going to hurt... but as long as it' above +7c and there's no ice and snow on the road, I'm definitely going to try to get out.
I'm just curious what other Canadians are paying insurance wise? I'm quoted at ~$800 full coverage for an 08 Nightster and I'm 27 with about 6 years of riding experience and one ticket showing on my driving record of 10 years. My insurance agent told me that if I only wanted one way and no fire/theft/vandalism it'd only be $300 though. lol This is through All State. I'm sure I can find cheaper elsewhere but I know this is an agent I can rely on and they've gone way out of their way in the past.
rates here in QC are coming down due to a large rally against the Govt here for plates and insurance.. has been a big drop in riders in last 2 years.. if the current rates tha were projected would of kept increasing, my guess they GOVT would of killed the pleasure of biking putting many out of work..
my rate is coming up in April since plates here are from April to April.. last year plates were about 600$ and almost same for insurance.. it all depends ure age and how long u riding as well as how many CC is ure scoot.. ya - season is damm short here too..
