engine light on

hi have a 2000 softail springer w/carbs just put screamin eagle heavy breater on now engine light comes on....thanks 4 any help u can gave

Double check that all connectors are plugged in. If they all seem to be connected, remove the main fuse and plug back in, maybe it will clear the codes.

If the light comes on and stays on you have a on going problem. If the light goes out after a few seconds when started and then comes back on for a few seconds then goes out you have a history code.
