clear is probably Harley primary fluid or some one else's primary fluid - its a modified tractor hydraulic fluid but it has modifiers in it for clutch material
we have had no issues using dextron 3 - today its dextrion 5 but I buy the dextron 3 in 2 1/2 gallon jugs in cases and have for ever
ford old type F is not good as its sticky and the clutch will baulk and jerk when hot

thanks again john. it was filled by a hd mech when he had the inner primary off so id say its the right oil used. just 1 quick question, is the evo clutch a diafram operation

my mate is a mc mech-jap bikes and he dosent like diaphram clutches.said spring operated work a lot better. what your thoughts john thanks
