I have quite original 1980 Sturgis 1HxxxxxJ0. Those are awesome bikes.
There was one for sale last year in Liechtenstein, about 60 miles away. It had apes and lots of leatherwork all over it (including seat). No disrespect but it was hideous and 'unsalvagible'...
1980 Sturgis seems to be one hard to find machine. I have had many 81 and 82 but only just recently got the 1980 which is also the first year of Sturgis and the last with short AMF vin #.
